Dr. Sarver received his medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. He did two years of residency training in obstetrics and gynecologic surgery at Michigan State University (St. John-Detroit Riverview Hospital), and then went on to complete a family practice residency at WVSOM - Selby General Hospital, in Marietta, Ohio.
Dr. Sarver is board certified in family medicine and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Sarver, his wife Michelle and their two sons reside in Allen . They enjoy outdoor activities and the arts.
Dr. Sara Folden grew up in Fort Worth where she made her mark at Nolan Catholic High before moving on to an under graduate degree in Biology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. She was awarded her medical degree from University of Texas Science Center in Houston and broke up her residency with a year in surgery at the University of Massachusetts, a
year of family medicine at University of Oklahoma and an additional year of family medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, even squeezing in a year long break where she experienced Hawaii with her grandmother.
Dr. Folden feels especially blessed to be practicing family medicine where she’s able to care for patients of all ages and no two days are the same. She is an active member of the Rotary Club and Medical Director of the non-profit Snowball Express which provides hope and new memories for families of our fallen military heroes who’ve died on active duty since 9/11. In her spare time Dr. Folden enjoys reading, crocheting, baking and spending time with her family.
After receiving her medical degree in 1996, Dr. Sabzali completed a residency with the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, GA, in 2007.
During her residency training she received numerous honors including: serving as an alternate delegate for residents at the House of Delegates, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP) in 2005-2006; First Place in the GAFP Resident Research Poster Competition at the Annual Scientific Assembly; and was awarded a scholarship for participation in the Annual Research Summit by the National Headache Foundation. Dr. Sabzali also participated in the Frontline Diabetes Workshop for Family Medicine residents sponsored by the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors in Orlando, FL in 2006 and in various community and residency-sponsored voluntary activities.
After her residency training Dr. Sabzali practiced in Atlanta; then relocated to Plano, Texas in 2009, where she practiced prior to joining FamilyWise Healthcare in 2010
Dr. Sabzali is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a member of Texas Medical Association. Her special interests include acute care, chronic disease management, adult medicine, adolescent and women’s health, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Sabzali resides in Plano with her loving husband and three children. She enjoys traveling, teaching and spending time with her family.
Mr. Lucio Gonzales grew up in McKinney, Texas and graduated from Prosper High School. In 1999, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
From 1999-2001, he continued his Master's work in Anatomy/Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. In 2001, Mr. Gonzales was accepted to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where he served as PA president, and completed his MSPAS.
Mr. Gonzales completed his clinical rotations in the fields of surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, pediatrics and family medicine. He has done research under Marty Shed, PA-C, entitled "Clinical Management of Type II Diabetes by Physicians/Physicians Assistant's versus the ADA guidelines."
Mr. Gonzales was the recipient of the John G. Bruhn Professionalism Award, Collin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce top business professional and two Distinguished Volunteer awards for his work at Magnolia House projects for underprivileged kids and Saint Vincent's House, a free clinic for indigent patients. He has continued his training and is Bale/Doneen certified in cardiovascular disease prevention and places emphasis on Preventive Medicine.
Mr. Gonzales is an avid martial arts and sports fan. He enjoys spending time with his wife Sara, his dogs Jack and Chester, and loves to spend time with his new baby son, Noah.
Jenifer Branson, MS, PA-C was born in Denison and raised in Weatherford, Texas. Her undergraduate degree was obtained from Texas Woman's University with a BS in Psychology.
Her desire to continue her education led her to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. While there, she did her clinical training at various hospitals including Harris County Hospital District, Debakey VA Medical Center and various rural clinical sites. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in December of 1999. At the completion of her studies, she received The Henry D. McIntosh Award for outstanding academic and clinical work. As a native of North Texas, her job search brought her to Allen. She has been in practice there since 2000.
Her professional focus and passion includes women's health issues, pediatrics, and adolescents. With two family members diagnosed with cancer in 2008, an emphasis on recommended screenings and preventive medicine are also highly regarded. Jenifer is a fellow member of Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and The American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Jenifer's activities outside the office include spending time with her two daughters and her husband. Exercising, gardening, and church activities keep her busy. Her family is a supporter of the Komen Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help those persons and their families affected by cancer. Jenifer and her family reside in Melissa, Texas.
Kelly Krug, MPAS, PA-C was born in Lewisville, Texas and has lived in metroplex her whole life. She currently calls McKinney home. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Texas in December of 2004 and then her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern in December of 2009.
Prior to entering PA school, Kelly worked in dentistry for seven years, which inspired her career in patient care. Kelly worked as a physician assistant in cardiology for a year and feels this knowledge is of great benefit when identifying at risk patients in the primary care setting. She is passionate about preventative medicine and enjoys taking time to explain testing, procedures and the underlying pathology of the disease process in order to increase patient success.
Kelly has been a devoted volunteer at health fairs and clinics providing medical care to help those without insurance or primary care. She also is a member of Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is hoping to give back to the PA community by offering time as a teacher/lecturer for upcoming PA’s at her prior institution, UTSW.
Kelly enjoys spending time with her new husband Benner, dog Pele, and step-son Cade. She is very active and some favorite activities include – cooking, photography of landscapes, running and cycling.
