Shane Hall, MD

Dr. C. Shane Hall grew up and graduated in nearby Van Alstyne, Texas. In 1999, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from UT-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 2004. In 2007 he completed his residency at Waukesha Family Medicine Program in Wisconsin. He practiced in Austin and Frisco before moving on to FamilyWise.

Dr. Hall is board-certified in family medicine and has been recognized by Bridges to Excellence for quality of care in Diabetes Care, Cardiac Care, and Physician Office Systems. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physician, Texas Medical Association, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society.

Dr. Hall is an avid sports fan of all 5 major Dallas sports and even finds time to play soccer and softball in local leagues. He is an active fundraiser and rider in the annual MS150 bicycling rally. He lives in McKinney and enjoys spending time with his wife and two-year old son.

Dr. Hall has a traditional vision of the family physician, feeling privileged to care for all ages from newborns to geriatrics. He feels the best family physicians are astute diagnosticians who are able to teach and explain medical findings to their patients. He is excited about joining FamilyWise and getting more involved in the community he has called home since 2009.

 
Sadaf Sabzali, MD

After receiving her medical degree in 1996, Dr. Sabzali completed a residency with the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, GA, in 2007.

During her residency training she received numerous honors including:  serving as an alternate delegate for residents at the House of Delegates, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP) in 2005-2006; First Place in the GAFP Resident Research Poster Competition at the Annual Scientific Assembly; and was awarded a scholarship for participation in the Annual Research Summit by the National Headache Foundation.  Dr. Sabzali also participated in the Frontline Diabetes Workshop for Family Medicine residents sponsored by the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors in Orlando, FL in 2006 and in various community and residency-sponsored voluntary activities.
After her residency training Dr. Sabzali practiced in Atlanta; then relocated to Plano, Texas in 2009, where she practiced prior to joining FamilyWise Healthcare in 2010
Dr. Sabzali is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and is a member of Texas Medical Association.  Her special interests include acute care, chronic disease management, adult medicine, adolescent and women’s health, and preventive medicine. 
Dr. Sabzali resides in Plano with her loving husband and three children.  She enjoys traveling, teaching and spending time with her family.

 
Lucio Gonzales, MSPAS, PA-C

Mr. Lucio Gonzales grew up in McKinney, Texas and graduated from Prosper High School. In 1999, he received a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.

From 1999-2001, he continued his Master's work in Anatomy/Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. In 2001, Mr. Gonzales was accepted to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where he served as PA president, and completed his MSPAS.

Mr. Gonzales completed his clinical rotations in the fields of surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, pediatrics and family medicine. He has done research under Marty Shed, PA-C, entitled "Clinical Management of Type II Diabetes by Physicians/Physicians Assistant's versus the ADA guidelines."

Mr. Gonzales was the recipient of the John G. Bruhn Professionalism Award, Collin County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce top business professional and two Distinguished Volunteer awards for his work at Magnolia House projects for underprivileged kids and Saint Vincent's House, a free clinic for indigent patients. He has continued his training and is Bale/Doneen certified in cardiovascular disease prevention and places emphasis on Preventive Medicine.

Mr. Gonzales is an avid martial arts and sports fan. He enjoys spending time with his wife Sara, his dogs Jack and Chester, and loves to spend time with his new baby son, Noah.
