Dr. Sarver received his medical degree from A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri. He did two years of residency training in obstetrics and gynecologic surgery at Michigan State University (St. John-Detroit Riverview Hospital), and then went on to complete a family practice residency at WVSOM - Selby General Hospital, in Marietta, Ohio.
Dr. Sarver is board certified in family medicine and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Sarver, his wife Michelle and their two sons reside in Allen . They enjoy outdoor activities and the arts.
Jenifer Branson, MS, PA-C was born in Denison and raised in Weatherford, Texas. Her undergraduate degree was obtained from Texas Woman's University with a BS in Psychology.
Her desire to continue her education led her to Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. While there, she did her clinical training at various hospitals including Harris County Hospital District, Debakey VA Medical Center and various rural clinical sites. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in December of 1999. At the completion of her studies, she received The Henry D. McIntosh Award for outstanding academic and clinical work. As a native of North Texas, her job search brought her to Allen. She has been in practice there since 2000.
Her professional focus and passion includes women's health issues, pediatrics, and adolescents. With two family members diagnosed with cancer in 2008, an emphasis on recommended screenings and preventive medicine are also highly regarded. Jenifer is a fellow member of Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and The American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Jenifer's activities outside the office include spending time with her two daughters and her husband. Exercising, gardening, and church activities keep her busy. Her family is a supporter of the Komen Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help those persons and their families affected by cancer. Jenifer and her family reside in Melissa, Texas.
Barbara grew up in upstate NY, and attended Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY to get her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She did work in NY initially, for two years, before meeting her husband, and moving to Dallas. She worked with Texas Cancer Associates for 3 years at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. At that time, she finished her Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska.
After getting married and building a home in McKinney, she started working for McKinney Family Medicine for several years. After that, for a change of pace, she began two part time jobs, both in family medicine, in Allen and Frisco. She joins our practice with 10 years of experience as a physician assistant. She continues to live in McKinney, with her husband, and her three dachshunds, whom she adores. She looks forward to contributing to our practice.
